On my thirtieth year on the planet, I thought I might get a ring. What I didn’t expect was for my boyfriend and business partner to break up with me because he couldn’t stand the thought of spending the rest of their lives with me and having nothing but boring sexual encounters.

When I get the chance to spend the summer in Las Vegas, I end up discovering my neighbour is a hot photographer. We agree to a basic arrangement.

He’s the instructor, and I’m the pupil.

Loving the body I have is my lesson. In return, I will try to salvage his company. This summer is my last chance to find the most assured version of myself before returning to my regular life at home.

A summer of intense emotion has left me questioning my identity, and it’s evident that the deepest heartbreak of my life may yet lie ahead.

About The Author Kay Cove

Kay Cove, who was born in Colorado Springs but raised all over the place (thanks, military! ), enjoys blowing raspberries on her sons’ super pudgy baby bellies, going on long hikes in the snow, and engaging in heated debates with her husband over the distinction between different species of turtles and tortoises, Marvel facts, and, most crucially, the whereabouts of the remote control.

For as long as she can remember, Kay has been writing. She has worked in human resources (and survived), is a startup addict, and was formerly the CEO of the world’s smallest virtual assistant firm. At age 30, she made up her mind to put pen to paper and share the novels she had spent so many sleepless nights and cups of coffee labouring over with the world.

Camera Shy Book Summary

For me, this book was excellent in every possible aspect. How to get things started.

Camera After a long-term relationship ends, Shy decides to accompany Avery to Las Vegas for the summer. It so happens that Finn is her immediate neighbour. He is a professional photographer that focuses on boudoir shoots. It is his primary goal to make the environment safe and supportive for women.

Avery has suffered more than she thought from the effects of her relationship. Finn and Avery agree to terms. She is his pupil, and he is her instructor.

I feel compelled to express my deep affection for Avery, for whom I have nothing but the highest hopes from the moment I met her. This woman embodies strength and beauty in equal measure. Her development throughout the book was fascinating to read about.

Plus, Finn! I’ve found a new literary crush. Sincerely, I adore him. He truly cares about Avery and wants what’s best for her. Love for him just happens.

Both Avery and Finn have experienced unjust treatment in previous relationships. The thought of them finally meeting and falling in love warms my heart.

What flavour this book has!! A pleasant surprise awaits you. In my honest view, it only deserves a three out of five.

I never cease to be amazed by Kay. This book’s writing and plotting contributed greatly to the development of its characters. I appreciate you sending me an advanced copy and including me in the release process.
