Her dreams and cravings become her new normal, but Lily worries that Loren Hale, still recovering from his alcoholism, won’t see her for the monster she is. After all, the longer she remains committed to him, the more control her sexual urges exert over her life.

Progress. Lily’s ultimate goal is to achieve this. However, she makes things more difficult for herself by trying to become closer to her family, most of whom are unaware of her addiction. She discovers surprising things about her little sister Daisy when she spends time with her, and she gets the uneasy feeling that there’s a link between Daisy and Ryke Meadows.

Lily and Lo’s problematic relationship is precariously balanced, so they’ll have to figure out how to repair it while separated by thousands of miles. However, the inability to “touch” proved to be a significant challenge during their rehabilitation. A little bit of affection skims the surface. Some loves go beyond the surface.

In the next three months, Lily and Lo will find out how serious their feelings for each other really are.

A full-length New Adult Romance that picks up where Addicted to You left off, perfect as a companion to the sequel. It is strongly suggested that this be read before tackling Addicted for Now.

About The Author Krista Ritchie

The writers Krista and Becca Ritchie are identical twins who have achieved success as best-selling authors in both the New York Times and USA Today. Despite the fact that one of them is more of a science nerd and the other more of a comic book geek, they combined their creative abilities when they were young and haven’t stopped writing tales since then. This group has a strong affinity for stories about flawed protagonists, soul mates, and superheroes.

Ricochet Book Summary

To some extent, you are correct. No man is necessary, but I am.
That may be the sexiest thing I’ve ever read, but it’s OK.

I’m relieved that Lily and Loren are taking their recovery from addiction seriously and not treating it as a quick fix. The Ritchies did a fantastic job of making everything look and feel authentic.

Lily now has a much wider circle of friends and acquaintances. I’m relieved that so many people in her life support her and are willing to assist her. Rose’s participation was a highlight for me. As a sister, she excels. These individuals serve as examples of the types of people everyone needs by their side during trying times. I’m relieved that we investigated Lily and Lo’s addictions in greater depth.

I thought her therapist was great too! She explains to Lily that sex isn’t something that needs to be eliminated entirely, but rather a good balance needs to be found. She reassures Lily that she is allowed to feel this way and that it is okay with her. Some people who struggle with addictions or mental health tend to feel guilty about it because they believe they have “everything” they need and that other people have it much worse. Everyone can benefit from being reminded of this.

I thought Ryke was a fantastic main character. He looks like a complete jerk from a distance, yet I found myself rather liking him. Just the fact that he seemed so genuine struck me as appealing. Characters that honestly don’t give a hoot about what other people think can be rather useful. He gives Lo and Lily his whole attention and does a fantastic job of easing their suffering.

Truth be told, I’m fond of her sisters, too. They’re all unique in their own way. Both Daisy and Rose have books available, but I’m not sure if I’m interested enough to buy either of them.

As for Lily and Lo, I’d want to see more of them, too. Their friendship is everything to me.
