Obviously, Frederick J. Fitzwilliam, her new flatmate, is not your average person. He sleeps throughout the day, goes out at night for work, and has a conversational style straight out of an 18th-century novel. In addition to showing interest in her art and asking about her day, he frequently leaves Cassie sweet messages about the flat. They rarely spend time together at home, but when they do, he doesn’t look bad without a shirt. But when Cassie discovers blood bags in the refrigerator that weren’t there before, Frederick has no choice but to confess…

In other words, Cassie’s new vampire flatmate is hot. And now he wants to make a proposal to her.

My Roommate Is a Vampire Book Summary

In this humorous, interesting, and unusual paranormal romance, the protagonist is an eccentric, selfless, and artistic heroine, and the love interest is an eternal cinnamon bun with Mr. Darcy vibes.

I think the idea of a sitcom called “How to Be a Housemate with a Vampire and Teach Him How to Adapt to the Modern World” is brilliant, and I would watch every episode of it.

A good way to describe the central idea is “What We Do in the Shadows” meets “Flatshare.”

Both main protagonists are lovable kooks. Their awkward encounters, the handwritten messages they exchange, and their obvious connection to one another are all major swoon factors.

The story follows promising artist Cassie Greenberg and her quirky landlord Frederick Fitzwilliam, who at the age of 35 seems to have been plucked straight out of the Regency era with his attire, speech patterns, and general demeanour.

Cassie is going to be evicted from her flat and is rethinking her living situation after coming across a Craigslist ad offering a spare room in a good part of town for an absurdly low price. Frederick, who, as you might expect, receives nothing in return for his position, owns the flat. Cassie is the only one to apply for the flat, and she does so despite the red flags that were raised. At least she doesn’t get any Dexter meets Dahmer feelings from the young man who dresses like Colin Firth in regency era outfits and has cute six packs. But little does she know that he gives off a combination of Edward Cullen and Damon Salvatore.
