While Allie James and I come from different socioeconomic backgrounds, she has always treated me as her own. Intent and feeling. Years of longing in the corridors of our high school culminate in a miraculous encounter in a dark field during a storm: she needs me, too. At least, that’s what I’m thinking. As soon as she learns that I am a handyman, she stops talking to me. But I won’t stand by and let the wealthiest girl in school shatter my heart without fighting back. She will be held accountable for…

But the real cost will come when I learn why she just disappeared without a word. After treating my sweet girl like trash, I’d do anything to get her back.

Breaking the Bully Book Summary

Since I knew it would be brief and contain apologies, I set out to write it. I read it in a few of hours because of how brief it was, and was pleasantly surprised to find that I had enjoyed it. Don’t waste your time if you’re hoping for a compelling story with rounded characters. The romance is basically insta-love and the book can be read in one sitting. It was fun to watch, but I wasn’t invested in any of the characters or plot.

In fact, the characters barely know one another. Allie doesn’t make him work hard due to circumstances, and I was startled to find that I like the grovel. Due to the time leap at the beginning, we don’t get to see much of the bullying, but this is to be anticipated from a concise story. Unlike Allie, the FMC, who makes the guy work harder than he wants to because she’s horny, Moore, the MMC, was a stalker and obsessed. While they had attended the same school for some time, they had only known each other for a short period of time. Despite this, I enjoyed witnessing Moore’s expressions of regret and apology. I enjoyed the close quarters and rustic charm of the story’s cabin setting.
